Photo Credit: Pexels.com Let the moon up above your head brightly shine For a change, be your own Valentine Nay, you need not wait for any medieval knight in shining armour For you are no damsel in distress, You need no stroke of love or a feather-touch of caress To prove that you are absolutely fine For a change, be your own Valentine You are sensitive to your own desires, ambitions and priorities You are the master of your mind, you have a voice and know all the nitty-gritty To succeed in everything that you do from nine to nine For a change, be your own Valentine Let the cuckoo sing to you You need no lover to serenade you Or, better still, play an old classic melody A haunting baritone or a dulcet tone to mesmerise your ears It is music that you tune in to while you sit down to dine For a change, be your own Valentine Pamper yourself with your grandma’s kitchen packs as useful beauty hacks to achieve that glowy look ...
