Literary Pursuit (Poem)
Into the nature…
I put my feet up in blue bliss
As far as my eyes go
in the eternity above
I lie down on a grassy
carpet to marvel at the cottony white clouds floating like boats across the sky
Far below, in between the steep gray cliffs carved by nature's knife
Flow the waters of the
narrow ribbony inlets of the sea
The surreal fjords
Bearing the green reflection of a cluster of coniferous trees on the towering hills
The gigantic searchlight standing tall skims
the ocean surface with its bright beam
A flight of lone wooden steps lazily juts out
into a meandering river hemming a land of shrubbery
The serene silence of
the surroundings
The gravity of a
snow-capped mountain range at a distance
All beckon my weary senses
To unwind and find my lost
soul
Exhume my buried
feelings
Regain my true self
Funnel my pent-up
emotions into a vortex of creativity
With the lens of love,
brush of passion and the colours of my imagination
With a generous shower
of floral and fruity sprouts, the wild as well as the vulnerable fauna, the
velvety streams, the cascading springs, the verdant virgin deep forests where
sunlight plays a hide and seek
Come, let's take a
sneak peek of this picture postcard in reality and be a disappearing dot in its
breathtaking frame....
